LAPTOP Meme Coin Crashes 98% as $199 High Vanishes in Minutes

Hunter Biden’s new meme coin, known as LAPTOP, is not having a great first day. At press time, it is 98% below its $199 all-time high and is currently coasting along at $2.54 per unit. At current prices it still has a $1.24 billion market cap and a fully diluted valuation of around $3.56 billion. So far, exchanges that have listed the new LAPTOP meme coin have clocked $13.45 million in trading volume since launch.

The token is inspired by the Mac laptop he left at a Delaware repair shop in 2019 which caused all kinds of controversy during the 2020 election between Donald Trump and Hunter’s father, Joe Biden. Before the launch, Biden wrote that people have “PTSD from Trump, Melania, Kanye, Lil Pump, and Andrew Tate’s memecoins” and stressed that all of these coins were “MAGA” affiliated.
